Sometimes the thought needs a picture.

Why visual capture belongs in MeerKatta’s future—and what we are still working out.

Voice is a good way to keep a thought moving before you have the right words. But sometimes the missing piece is something you can see: an awkward interaction, a detail in a design, or the steps that led to a problem.

Keep the context with the thought.

Imagine pointing at a confusing screen and talking through what you expected. The useful part is not the recording alone. It is the connection between what you noticed, why it matters, and what someone could do next.

That is the same direction behind MeerKatta today: capture with less interruption, preserve your intent, and leave something you can return to or build from. Visual capture would extend that practice when words alone leave too much out.

In the making, not in the current release.

We are working toward a video workflow. Screen or camera capture, trimming, captions, and help preparing something to share are directions we are exploring—not features available in the current release. The scope and release timing are not settled.

Start with a useful moment.

Would you use it to explain a bug, walk someone through an idea, or keep context for yourself? Those moments matter more than a long feature list. We want to understand where a short recording would help you carry a thought further.
